18th West Coast Plato Workshop: First Alcibiades
The West Coast Plato Workshop brings together scholars from all over the world to discuss a particular Platonic dialogue or theme. This year, the workshop will be dedicated to recent research on the First Alcibiades, a key dialogue that discusses self-knowledge, love, justice, and the nature and care of the soul. Professors Cinzia Arruzza (Boston University) and Fiona Leigh (University College, London) will give the keynote lectures.
The workshop will take place May 16-18, 2025, at UC San Diego. Please see the program for details of the talks.
